Fargo North Dakota - Midland Michigan Post 165 (54-8 overall) has won the 2009 American Legion National Championship as they defeated Medford Oregon, 11-4 Tuesday August 18th in Fargo North Dakota in the 2009 American Legion Baseball World Series. Midland draws from seven different high school's and finished the world series, 5-0 and also of course claimed the Great Lakes Regional Championship and Michigan State Title on their way to the title.
